It seems that Tuxedo origins are disputed between United States and United Kingdom. According to the American version, the tuxedo was officially born in 1886, when the Tobacco industrialist Griswold Lorillard wore it for the first time to go to the Tuxedo Club in New Jersey: for this reason it became known as the "Tuxedo" or "Tux". For the British, however, its birth is due to Henry Poole & Co. tailor that in 1865 created a short jacket, cutting queues at a tailcoat jacket for the Prince of Wales, Edward VII. Whatever its origin is, one thing is certain: thanks to the new interpretation of Stile Latino the story continues without limit in space or use.
